Been gambling for 12 years or so, lost thousands as you do but to me the last few years it’s not the money, as you get so numb to losing, it’s the thrill to me, the escape from other things going on in life, banned myself online 4 years ago but never stopped so would withdraw cash and go in the shop just for something to do, so defeated the object, by doing so but will never re active online either, but decided after losing on my final football bet I placed enough was enough I wanted to enter the new year, (turning 30 next week) determined to beat this, and achieve other goals in my life, and I feel absolutely great, no thoughts, no temptation to go and withdraw cash. Going to go to G.A meeting when back from holiday as extra motivation, feeling absolutely great 😀
