Hi All,

Like many ive toyed with the idea of coming here but never thought I needed to, how wrong was I, ive been gambling on and off for around 6 years, im 26 have a good job, recently bought a house etc. lifes going pretty well apart from my gambling side, I can go weeks/months without a single bet then have one and im hooked again for days on end ill bet 2/3 times a day and thats all Ill be thinking about, doing it at work when im at home and I know myself that it changes my mood, when ive lost im angry and down and im different towards the people around me and not in a good way! I gamble on the football alone but find myself looking at games at 9 in the morning on leagues ive never even heard of just for a bet. The major problem I have at the minute is that my brains constantly telling me how easy it is to win that amount of money £300/400 within 90 minutes which is something I cannot get out of, Luckily im not one for chasing my losses if I lose a bet I wont put another one on straight away but once the memory of the loss has dissapeared ill be right back on the sites, I mainly put it down to boredom but also an obsession of money it has to be this, I genuinely miss the days I could nip into the bookies on a saturday morning and put a £5 accumulator on for the weekend football. Ive tried self exclusion to the point were I am running out of online bookmakers to use, the fact is theres that many I always manage to come across another no matter where there based, if they take my money im game! I dont want to stop gambling all together (I know that may sound strange) I want to be at a point where its fun again and not in complete control of my life.

Thanks for reading

Jimmy

I agree with half life, I would love to go back to just doing £5 or £10 football bets on a Saturday but I think it would just end up with me increasing my bets and chasing my losses. Much better to call it quits completly and start a gamble free life
