I came on this site in 2010, and did the counselling. It really worked for about 2 years then slowly I was back on it again. What have I done!! Thousands of pounds in debt and so bloody embarrassed. I thought I could handle it and control what I was spending. But I was wrong. I remember this forum being a great support for me, so he we go again.

This happens to many of us. I first found this website in the winter of 2010, I then went 3 full years GF and fell of the wagon for the last 3 years and have lost tens of thousands of pounds. I'm now 29 days GF. We have done long stretches before, so we know we can do them again. Remeber the feeling of this relapse whenever you want to gamble again be it tomorrow, a month or 5 years down the line. This is what is helping me work on being GF for the rest of my life.
