Hey guys here we go day three still feel like an idiot for what I've done back to ga tonight can't wait to get work out of the way and go. Started eating properly again today had breakfast and just had a sandwich which is good I suppose, sun has come up looks like a nice day so lets hope we all have a nice day.

Day 6 for me, we can do this.
I also feel fed up at myself for what I did, and especially the huge loss but nothing I can do about that now....one day at a time and there IS something to be grateful for in each day, especially the things money can't buy.

Hi Ste, that low feeling will pass but I understand as it's SO hard to get through at the time. I never want to feel like I have this past week again either...yesterday I think was my lowest since the stupidity of putting all my money back in to the slots again.
All I can see since I did it are holidays, that I could have afforded had I just went and booked one when I won the large amount of cash...also thinking about all the places I could be going or the stuff I could be buying my son & daughter with the cash, and worst of all the fact that my 'Emergency Fund' is now gone.
But ye know what Ste, had I used that money for all those things then no doubt I would have went back gambling again at some point anyway...maybe I needed to lose it all back to see that gambling is a lose lose situation.
Keep your head up my friend....we are the winners, when we DON'T gamble.
I know your right the feeling will pass things will seem a lot easier when I have figured out how to get us out of this hole I've got us in again. I'm just about to go and tell my dad who is giving us the deposit for our first home very soon what I've been doing dont think he'll give us a deposit after that so I've probably lost us our first house before we've even got it that's y I'm at my lowest right now I've even shocked myself this time but all this is gunna make me not gamble ever again when we do a year which we will things will be Rosie again
