So I asked my mate who's a bookie to watch the fobt slots last week
Here's something that should make you never want to put another penny in them
max payout last week on slot games - 325 (that's in total)
Max money put in - 7,500 (obv in total, not by just one person)
Therefore bookies make a hefty profit off a lot of losses
It's certainly opened my eyes and now I'll be putting my money behind the supermarket checkout not Into a bookies pocket. Least I have something to show for my money that way
£7500 obviously not by one person........i wouldn't be too sure of that........i have lost £2300 in one myself in the past and i have witnessed a chinese man spend £6200 in one over a 6 hour period on roulette with the key bet placing and the £30 superspin dragons feature.
What is a shock is the total week payout of just £325 that does surprise me as that is usually easily achieved in wee hours always at a loss of course but nethertheless that was one tight set up of circumstances by any means........
enough to put everyone off one would think ......................if only it was how our brains worked mores the pitty.
Regards
Wayne
ah unless, alas £325 is the only physical payout that someone actually claimed without re-betting, that would make perfect sense.
We usually keep on until any winnings are eradicated and then lose some.............and some ........ and some
bookies are evil now, they done us all with the loss leader paying out when they first came out but now nothing. just take take take and the ball falls on the number next to the one you have money on like ALL THE TIME to wind you up to keep pressing that repeat bet button, sick machines. DONT GO IN THE BOOKIES. Im also starting today so will never visit one ever again.
The machine states quite clearly you are going to lose. Even the name should tell you all you need to know Fobt, Fixed odds betting terminal. Its no use to you looking @placing the blame on them for your actions.
