I get paid fortnightly (unusal I know) and afyer 21 days of total abstinence I have finally made it thru a fortnight with a little money left over!
It started 21 days ago when I spent my every last penny on a slots game, I spoke to GamCare who worked out at that point in time I had a week ahead with no food (thankfully a mistake I've not repeated this last 14 days!) 🙂
I hae been speaking to a lovely counsellor twice a week who GamCare put me in touch with, and in my own inititive I signed up for GamSTOP, GamBan and opted out of bingo clubs.
Also I opted out of bookmakers thru out the town 🙂
As a last thing to do I told my local shop if I was sold a single scratchcard in there again I will stop shopping there. They agreed willingly 🙂
The JOKE of the matter is by the time I have been paid and paid my bills I will have what the maximum prize equivalent of what I could have won, so now on, Jackpot every fortnight.
Please get help everyone, its easier than you think - cut out the dead wood, burn your bridges and start again
