Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well. It's my first day here, and I would like to share my gambling journey.

Started betting on football matches last year in October. At first, I was winning a little then proceeds to lose 200 pounds in the course of three months. That's when I thought I should stop gambling. However, I have since relapsed a few times and as of today, I am on -1000. This is it, I got to stop and I have blocked transactions from my bank account to betting sites ( for the first time ).

I know it's stupid to gamble more and try to win back my losses, but I still feel very down about gambling my money away. Anyways, I hope anyone who sees this continues to stay away from gambling.

Fight on everyone!

This is my first time at this site as well.  I started on the poker sites about five or six years ago.  I lost a lot more than I won that's an understatement.  I blocked myself from several of the major poker sites and I figure I was okay.  Then I started doing slots on the casino sites.  One of those sites I've banned myself from already.  Then today, expressly against my wife's wishes I sold my bass amplifier and blew all the money at an actual local casino.  I somehow got it in my mind that the online casinos were rigged but the real ones maybe were legit.  I'm feeling stupid and desperate at the moment.  My wife and I don't have a lot of money and we can't afford this.  But more than that I can't handle the depression that comes when I lose.  I'm bi polar and losing at gambling really bums me out.  I'm also ocd which doesn't help matters.  I'm twenty plus years clean and sober as an alcoholic/drug addict but now I see that I've exchanged one addiction for another and I desperately need to stop.
