Hey all!
Â
My name is William, first time using Gamstop to try and curb my gambling.Â
Â
Been an off and on gambler for over 15 years since the age of 15, never really thought I had a problem - however at various moments in life I have gone through spells of gambling excessivly within short periods of time, then being able to leave the accounts alone. But always ended up coming back for more.
Â
The final straw was me reviving a B*****d account about a month ago. Been using it daily to place football bets, slot machines, etc. Wasting hours away on it every day until I finally realized yesterday that it was becoming a serious issue and I didn´t want to continue on like this anymore. Really glad I took the plunge with Gamstop an I hope it puts the final nail in the coffin of my gambling habit.
Â
Really appreciate any comments or advice you can give me!
Â
CheersÂ

I'm a newbie too.joined sunday.im at the stage where I finally realise I have a problem.i guess joining this site is the lightbulb moment.
I chased and chased a win at the arcade.then realised I had been there for hours.too many hours.
left myself short for bills.
I guess we say we will keep playing when we win but when we lose we say I will stop.
I'm at the stage where it's stop time
just how bad can things get.well this is what happened to a guy that I met at an arcade.his story was he lost a large amount of money on a machine in one day
.he and his mate dragged that machine onto the pavement.police were called.he lost his house due to his gambling.
his wife now limits him to a smaller amount a week at arcades.i guess some folk don't stop easily.
my situation is nowhere as bad as his.but it shows how bad things can get.
Affected by gambling?
