Hi All fellow sufferers
I am new to the gam care forum, however unfortunately not new to the gambling world, and over the past 6 years, it has slowly ruined my life and all relationships with partners, family and friends. Today I took out another payday loan to just gamble with for no reason other than I liked the thrill of gambling. I have been trying to stop for a long while, but properly since February, when after a big binge, checked myself into rehab and thought I was on a road to recovery. Since then though, I have turned back to gambling on multiple occassions, with the result always being worse. I dont gamble for money, I dont ever stop, there is no limit for me, I will jus carry on. I have been to ga meetings, tried therapy of all kinds, and worst of all I know the answers, I know what to do to stop gambling, I just cant apply it. I know I will never win and I know I dont need gambling in my life or want it, but these days of remorse will only last a week, and then the evil inside me will want me to gamble again. I need to stop this or I wont be around much longer. I will start again though and count it as day one, and take it one day at a time.

Hi, i have just posted for the first time since June, managed to abstain from January to June but since then its been constant again. I need to start day 1 again, that will be tomorrow as this evening have blown a payday loan, i know what has got to be done but just cant apply it.
I would use this forum for a while and see how it goes it has helped me in the past but i stopped using it and then went back to gambling as usual.
