It sounds like you've had a difficult 10 years, with problem gambling making it harder for you to enjoy a comfortable life or even to like yourself at times.
You've posted that you're from Cardiff, there is an agency called ARA that delivers free therapy appointments in Cardiff:
ARA (Addiction Recovery Agency): ARA delivers the GamCare service in Gloucestershire, Bristol, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Newport, North Somerset and Swansea. ARA is a treatment and support services working to reduce the harm caused by substance misuse and gambling addiction, and the consequent damage to individuals, their families and communities.
There is also a Gamblers Anonymous meeting for Cardiff, listed on the GA website:
