I'm new here and I. Can safely say I feel so alone and all I do is hurt everyone around me I owe 25k and it keeps increasing I have 3 amazing children . Two are my step children but I love them as much as my lil baby girl but all I do is mess up time and time again. I had to admit everything last October . Then stopped 4 months straight now I've slipped up and I lied again when I should have been truthful I think my marriage is over now. My wife is amazing but I lie lie lie and it's as bad in her eyes as going to another woman's bed. My phone all week has bin slot texts Cheltenham texts. I only gambled today so I could give her a good Mother's Day but that's now out the window. I can't imagine going to meetings as I don't think I will like what I'm told and I don't control Anger well at all. I used to be a happy person now I constantly feel guilt and even when I win I don't stop until I lose it all.
PLEASE PLEASE for the sake of your kids STOP gambling! I prmise u that, if you dont stop, you will loose everything! I am also in dept as well, but you will have to think that ( Your past is gone ) Start a new life! get Step changes involded in your life! we are all a bad gamblers and ill! We will always have thoughts, but the sooner you stop the better its for your life.
It's like I'm always trying to jus get debt free then win and then lose it all . It's affected everything .

There is NO win in gambling! I promise you that! never ever winners! the other day I heared a guy won 15k then lost it after 4 days and got an overdraft from His bank then lost everything! He was very very upset! I learn and take lessons from people whos life is changed by problem gambling! The sooner you get help, the better its! we are all human beings after all and gambling is an illness. Having a dept then you think you will win it back!? It wont happen! You just have to accept what youve lost and start a new life or you will loose yourself inside gambling.
When we gamble, we are liers, cheaters....etc, but when we stop, we come trustworthy, we become human again! No one trust us while we are gambling never! as I said the sooner we get help, the better its! and we must come clean with families and friends coz they dont know anything about gambling! only we gamblers know, but we dont know why we do it? get help as soon as you can.
I no 4 months with no help I stopped with no therapy nothing now bang. The worst thing is I lied. My wife is always amazing but with this I jus dig myself a hole by lying where as anything else anything at all I'm 100% honest and she is always understanding . I can go out for drinks even stag dos abroad she is always fine. We went from being financially ok to this in a short period. She was carrying my child and I was wrecking our future
We have people coming to our GA meeting telling us how their life is recked by problem gambling! I see them every monday since they have stopped, their partners, families..etc trust them step by step! if you dont stop now, i can assure u you will be digging and digging till you are in big trouble, but if you STOP now like I have done, you will sleep better! I have lost maybe everything, but I can still help someone like you who is thinking and cant sleep! Get Help....try to find a local GA meeting as soon as tommorrow.

its really good! you will get all the help you need from A-Z, BUT you must be truthful and commit yourself to it! ALL gamblers like us and telling their stories... the best thing is all confidential.
