Hi, I'm new here, I want to tell my little story to find some help among all of you that are on this forum.

I started gambling 2-3 years ago, just for fun and out of curiosity, 2018-2019 was my peak of all this, I was gambling every money I had. EVERYTHING! my salary, my brother's money, I was selling my phone, my ring, just to have money to gamble. I lost relationships, my family doesn't trust me anymore and the good thing is that this year September 2019 to July 2020 I haven't played at all. But 4 weeks ago I started again...all my salary, all my gold, and everything lost. I'm trying to use this forum to cure myself in a way, and maybe it will help me...But to be honest some people are lucky to be addicted to crack than gambling. Gambling is the worse from all drugs in the world. So...yeah, this is a short story about me, please leave a comment about what you think, and maybe we can speak and solve our problems together, communication is the key here, sometimes if you are alone you go and play, but if you have good company you don t need to go.

Hello Dennis. Yes, you are probably right to say that gambling is the worst drug (addiction). Basically it never really goes away- it plays on the mind- it draws you in- it gives you false promises. It can be your only friend.

However, it is part of human nature to overcome things. To fight for a better future and against all things destructive. We may be free from gambling for one month or perhaps a year, or maybe five years. But just like the alcoholic the road to turmoil and despair is only a bet or a drink away.

The good news is: We get another chance to reform. Another chance to find a route to happiness and success without gambling. But we'll not have indefinite amount of chances. We have to take it seriously. Because gambling can drive you to the brink and our lives should be worth more than that.

Finally, the way forward is to forget about the lost money and possessions. You will have years to make amends and recoup the losses, with the potential to reach for the stars!
