Yes it's Saturday night, so I'm sure you'll be deluged with hand-wringing gamblers who've got drunk now it's payday, gambled , lost and have now suddenly again - "seen the light, wow I'll never do that again, this time I've really learnt my lesson, etc, b*llshit meaningless crapola...until the next time".

Expect the usual overly sincere crapola platitudes about how we're going to change now payday has gone and we've blown it again, but never again. Yes?

I'm one of the above.

But what really bugs me is online casino.

At least with online betting on real football or horses we stand a chance - there is a skill studying the form, studying the stats.

But win or lose, as soon as we click onto that b*****d Roulette/Blackjack slot icon, sure as night follows day we will lose - especially on a Saturday night. It's like they set an algorythmn to make people on a Friday / Saturday night or around payday to lose no matter what they do!

Surely this should be illegal? It's not fair!

I could have a whip-round for all you good people and stick it all on red. I guarantee you if you place that bet after Saturday's matches it'll be black. It's rigged. The whole M********a is rigged. But no-one seems to care in government or society?

Yeah it's an illness

Yeah I'm greedy.

Yeah it's an addiction.

Yeah I shouldn't do it.

Does any of that help? Do any of the labels help?

Not really.

Would getting these online gambling s**m companies to admit they've rigged the whole shizzle help?

Yes, you betcha it would. I could finally let it go then. To know I was being played from the get, never stood a chance.

Why aren't people smashing in betting shop windows about this societal virus? Why is it allowed to continue?

Anyone?

(PS/ to Gamcare, what's all the "*******" about? Aren't we all adults here? Oh I've just lost £30,000 and am thinking of killing myself - FINE. But don't say "poo" or "s**t" it's naughty words! ???? - give me a f*****g break!!!

We will help you here. I understand how you feel right now

Yes you are getting there but you must let that anger go because it just turns in on yourself. Anger is an energy and then you turn it into determination to put the blocks on and have a gamble free life.

You wont just get platitudes....you will get the truth and support

As far as im concerned you didnt stand a chance and you never stood a chance. Even on the horses they have teams of people setting the odds. You dont think they would make it easy for a strong looking horse to romp home on life changing odds do you.

I dont think gambling is healthy anyway but it made a compulsive gambler out of me because I refused to accept the reality of gambling

The machines are lethal because even more gamblers ignore the odds on them. Ive seen people banging the screens on roulette and I never want to see that atmosphere and despair again. I know I was ignoring the real odds on fruit machines and playing in a mind induced trance

Unfortunately the gambling houses have government backing so we must self exclude and never go back

They dont care if you end up in the gutter. You must get your life and your pride back.

Take it easy

Its cool swear as much as u like get it out of your system. Your right it is all rigged, all the more reason why we should stay away. You think your making an investment when u place a bet, but your just paying for a buzz like other drugs. Winning money is the good buzz, losing is the dirty buzz. You keep chasing the good buzz, all logic goes out the window. Gambling establishments will always win, until an individual stops gambling. Each person that stops gambling, is a winner and contributes (however little it may be statistically) in beating them ultimately. We need to fall like dominos away from the gambling scene.. Defeat those dirty b******s once and for all. Dont give them your money, do absaloutely anything else with it.. Just dont give it to them.

' the big lie ' - the gambling companies are * businesses * they exist to take your money, not give you theirs ! Would you go into a restaurant have a nice meal then ask the waiter to give you £30 for eating there ? You may well have used gambling software owned / developed by Playtech. According to Wikipedia, Its owner Teddy Sagi was estimated to be worth $3.3 billion in april 2015. He was also convicted of ' grave deceit, bribery and insider trading ' in 1994. Those are the kind of people you are giving your money to. If you now know the game isn't fair - if you didn't know before - then it would be stupid in the extreme to continue wouldn't it ?
