Hi, my name is Chris and I have a problem with gambling.
I came across this website after being sent the link by ******* customer services after asking them what percentage their FOBT machines payed out at in the shop I use. They were quite exact with a 97.6% figure but vague to say the least when this figure is actually achieved. 100,000s of spins to the machines lifetime was the timescale response I got from them.
A member of staff told me they pay out between 51-56% daily of what the machines take. Knowing this I asked ******* to provide me with proof of their percentage quote, they refused. I then asked when were their machines last regulated ? Their reply was I had to ask the manufacturer of the machines and probably have to pay for this information.
I declined their kind offer and contacted the gambling commission instead and I am currently awaiting their findings.
So this is the long winded way I got to here, this site.
Today I've lost several hundred pounds on a FOBT , usual way playing for an area an it just repeats losing numbers and avoiding the area for in excess of 60 spins.
I can relate to all the posts I've read on here and the similarities we all, gamblers share. The feelings we all share, the disappontments the stress anxiety etc.
Thought it was time I fully committed , stopped telling myself I can do it without help and finally after 22 years of lying to myself try 100% to stop.
Believe me I want to, I finally believe it myself when I say I want too.
