New blog post up to day if anyone's interested in my journey: http://agamblersjourney.weebly.com/blog
Sorry it's been a few days! New post here: http://agamblersjourney.weebly.com/blog
So, after a few hard times and back at day zero once again, I've decided to return to my blog to document my recovery - including the hiccups and distractions that occur along the way.
Hope it's useful for someone: http://agamblersjourney.weebly.com/blog
Sorry to read this...a difficult read.
I guess the overriding point from me is :- what are you going to differently apart from lip service and have you considered external assistance?
You seem a well educated and otherwise normal chap - would you consider giving GA a go?
Thanks for the last comment Gary, appreciate it was a while ago. I'm currently seeing a therapist.
It's been a difficult past 10 years gambling, but I've been gamble free now for 4 months, which isn't something I've been able to say at all before (or at least that I can remember!)
Still in 150k+ of debt and in significant trouble. Every day is a struggle, but taking it day by day and hoping maybe one day I'll be able to beat this addiction!
I'm going to keep adding to my blog more regularly as it's useful being able to see my posts here, and also document more of my own thoughts on my blog for reference.
Hope everyone is doing well and thanks for your support. Life is tough sometimes but we soldier on!
Affected by gambling?
