Well done EJA888. I agree Gamstop is good. I have had issues with Paypal they allow me to spend money and then 2 days later it goes through my bank account! If you use a computer or phone Gamban is good as well only £10 a year to subscribe. It does not work on vodafone network as yet but they have assured me they are working on it hopefully to be up and running by end of March. In the meantime my friend has put a restriction code on my iphone and I cannot access. safari or apps. I have installed Betfilter. Its more expensive than Gamban but for me it is worth every penny!! Good luck and keep posting.

Crashed again guys, another 230 down, see my other thread on 'struggling with everything' thread. I'm a mess, dissapointed in myself. I had £1000 towards a car deposit in December this year and got down to £750 now. Feel gutted. I managed to pull myself together for 3 weeks and a little mishap has ruined everything for me. I can say the same. ‘Get back up and go again’ but sometimes you need a hand to get up. Thanks for the support guys I won’t give up

Hello EJA88

Sorry to hear you've had a lapse. I see you said on another post that your problem is having access to your phone at work and having a flutter then chasing your losses. Sorry to hear that Gamstop didn't stop you on this occasion. Have you considered installing blocking software on your phone? If you call the helpline on 0808 8020 133 or chat to us on the NetLine, we can give you a code to get blocking software.

Keep posting,

Day 1

It's been a day now since my relapse, it will be the last one i've had, i've gone through and tightened up the blocks so there is no way for me to get around them. I am not bringing cards out with me unless neccessary, using more cash, taking £10 around with me to cover anything i may need or want through the day at work (food, coffee etc). I feel this will help.

Hope you're good guys, speak after the weekend!

Hello mate, I'm also 20 years old. But I've managed to get myself into 7k of debt and im on a debt management plan. £315 for the next 2 years coming out of my pay check. Don't get to my point. Exact same situation as you. Gamble, chase chase chase. But I took out loans and used them too. You can do it mate. So can I. We all can. Good Luck
