Hi Kazzie and welcome to the forum. Your not alone. Well done on the positive steps you are taking.

Slots is my thing. Ruined my life they have, but gotta be positive moving forward.

Other things you can do to help you stop are..

1. Register with gamstop. It will stop your online gambling in its tracks.

2. get yourself excluded from places that you may gamble like arcades and bookmakers.

3. Limit your access to money when you feel vulnerable. If the money aint available you can't gamble it.

Staying stopped will not be easy. Iv'e gone for long periods gamble free but currently struggle. Its a long term battle am afraid but it can be won... a day at a time only.

Keep reading and writing. It all helps 🙂

It depends how much your spending, if your lending and sneaking around to get the fix then yeah it's a problem, I never spend bill money but have racked up in 2 years **k debt in personal loans and credit cards.

I've noticed venting on here helps. And know what a grip gambling takes, let your family know asap so they dont unsuspecting lend you money that will fund your addiction. I never lend from family.

Keep strong and try get it sorted by payday
