hi all i am 27 yrs old and fruit machines are my worst knightmare, today was payday i had £830 and i lost £500 in the machines and this isnt the first time over the last 3 months ive lost about 2 grand
i feel physically sick at what i lost today its got so out of hand i dont know what to do, there are no GA meetings near me so im on here looking for help and advice

I'd suggest picking up the phone to GamCare for a start...They provide counselling services if you are looking for GA but can't get there I guess it's the next best thing!
Next we'll be saying you need to get barriers up to break your gambling (Time-Money-Location, remove one & you cannot gamble) triangle! Fruit machines were my poison & I self excluded from machine shops, bingo halls, Bookies for miles around & handed over my finances to my better half as no money = no gamble!
Good skills coming here before sinking to the depths I did. We cannot win because we cannot stop but if we choose 'No' One Day At A Time, we can get our lives back - ODAAT
Hello ash, I play fruitmachines and two months ago I lost about one fifty in one machine was tottally gutted too. Make a start by coming on chat room at 8pm any night or going on netline and having a chat to an advisor it really helps adam
