Hi all
Complete newbie to the forum. I have been struggling with gambling addition now for over 20 years, I've had periods where I didn't gamble for 5/6 months but here i am again chasing my losses. I hate myself for doing it but the urge is so strong even though know I wont ever be in profit. I'm hoping that reaching out for support is going to help me along the way. I'm determined to give this up and am going to push myself to fight these urges.

I’m 20 days in of gamble free if I can do it anyone can that’s my motto I’ve been gambling every day for 20 years and it’s time to stop and there’s so many nice company’s and people out there atm I’m doing it all on my own and tbh I’m doing pretty well I’ve set myself challenges every week and so far doing great
u just gotta have the willpower to say no….

I've found looking at other peoples stories helps at the moment so logging on to this forum a few times a day is a massive support function.
I recently done 18 days but relapsed, i'm more than ever determined now to stop and with the support and guidance form others on this forum i stand a better chance.
Massive well done on the 20 days, it doesn't seem that long to anyone else but my god 20 days is like a year in terms of not gambling.

Oh pal trust me it’s hard mine is book makers really and when I’m stressed I go but that’s no excuse always here any time for a chat… or use the chat rooms…. U r stronger then you think just think of one thing what can u use that money for instead of gambling with it
