Samaritans are exploring what changes are needed to make the gambling industry a safer space. We want to identify how difficult relationships with gambling may impact on a person’s wellbeing and how this might relate to thoughts and feelings around suicide. Â

The research will be carried out as a one-to-one interview over a video call, lasting about an hour with an experienced interviewer, and everything you share will be kept strictly confidential.Â
Your insights will help Samaritans to develop recommendations for changes in the way the UK gambling industry support individuals experiencing severe distress or suicidal thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
