Sure, I am gladly to help in any shape or form in beating the monkey (the inner demon).

The last bet was in September a relapse. I have been gamble free till now.
So onwards and upwards- happy days.
I know that many people have had bad experiences, and some end up losing their lives.
Add this to the list, people need to understand that there are 3 version of themselves; yourself, the monkey self and the computer. The first comment covers this by purchasing the book (not the Bible).

Afternoon Lisa,
If the bank doesn't offer this service then write a formal letter to your bank headquarters and explain that other banks in the UK offers this service to their customers who has gambling problems. However, the gambling culture has been part of society. For example, take a look at football, where some teams are sponsored by betting companies etc- doesn't necessarily mean you have to place a bet.
I hope this helps.
All the best

Ps keep the monkey at bay
Soysauce,
I will check with the banks tomorrow. In any case I hope that the big established banks in Sweden will look into this possibility to help their customers keep their savings!
I am also a believer in that the best advice comes from those who have experience from trying it but I firmly believe that you might very well give advice even though you have had a relapse or are new to this gambling free life. Regardless of your history I am thankful for support and advice.
I went through the 12 steps. I have friends who also have been through them. Some lived gambling free for years, mentoring others. Still they have relapsed and so have I. The key to success for me this time is actually to NOT accept relapse as something that happens. I think it is really important not to just shrug your shoulders and say “s**t happens” ??♀️ That way you will mentally prepare for and forgive yourself before it has even happened. That does not work for me as I have realised throughout the years.
Stay strong and take care ?
Lisa,
It is nice to have things in place to tackle this Chimp behaviour and stopped you from gambling for good. This Chimp is considered to be 4 times stranger than yourself. However, there are ways to harmonised the beast- a balancing act. Follow the tips as discussed.
Stuff happens to the best of us. I am not saying I am perfect in any shape or form. I amjust like you and I.
The gambling industry doesn't look like they are short of cash, so why do people gamble? To escape in the hope of winning big and all can be plain sailing into the sunset. People need to wake up and smell the coffee and realised what they're doing to themselves. Above this, it is NEVER too late to seek help.
Please keep me updated with your situation and let go from there- happy days.
Stay safe, calm and take one day at a time.

Hi
No banks will not do that in Sweden, Norway or Denmark. You will need to have a web account at Revolut, N26 or something similar to ad those types of filters but I agree it would have been a good thing i they have them. Writing a letter to Ardelan Shekarabi (Swedish government) could be an idea as he is very good at tackling the industry. For therapy help, I would recommend you to lookup Vuxenpsykiatrimottagning in your area for spelmissbruk. They have CBT as a treatment for up to 6 months and the staff are brilliant at what they do. For online resources, you could forex try ch-hypnosis. They give you easy to use tools to empower yourself to tackle your triggers and cravings.

once upon a time I did had a N26 account and they did have similar features and functions as Monzo. The account was closed automatically by some regulations etc. Do give N26 a try and see what you think.
