I'm sorry to read you've reset the days counter but glad to see you're straight back on counting the days and abstaining. Do not lose sight of how far you've come. Many of us have yet to reach 130 odd days yet. With that comes a lot of wisdom and you know what techniques and strategies work for you. Try to identify the root cause of your slip and use this knowledge to carry you safely further into recovery.

Best wishes

Clare

Danny you're amongst many with a similar issue to yourself. You've come to the right place and we all look forward to following your journey and watching your life improve. Whilst gambling we neglect our loved ones and that's a massive downside of our habit. Hopefully if you can see out the rest of this year without the slots you will feel much happier and be able to treat your family to nice pressies at Christmas time if you desire, without wasting your hard earned cash on the stupid slots !

Day 458 - checking in for new week

Sending all good wishes to Tri and all those who are dealing with strong urges right now. Know that no matter how strong the urge is, it will reach its strongest and then weaken. You have got through so many of these days, you can get through this one too Tri. Stay posting, Suzy
