Checking in day 182. Tuesday will be my 6 month anniversary. Feels good to have not spent a single penny on gambling in nearly half a year. Hopefully I can get to 1 year gf after 20 years of trying to quit.

Hi all, in a nut shell, been gambling for 16 years, its mainly a roulette addiction, i can walk from anything else quite easily, love a footy bet using a quid max, but cant *** throwing note after note in them fobts, and casinos.. now i have gamstop in place since april and casino blocks... i have excuded from many shops in around my area (aleast 200) keep finding the odd one i havent added and sneaking in when my gamble side of my brain is on the prowl, doesnt help i passed my driving test recently and now go further afield if i hadnt and was on my bike still i would be fit as a fiddle, i'd be like the gambling bradley wiggins.. anyway, recently i have been breeching my terms on the self exclsuion as going in shops i shouldhnt be and no one batters an eyelid, (really annoyed at this but too i am at fault) i report this to the central exclusion but only when i am in despair and lost it all.... i am now 13 days GF and intend to keep it that way roll on the £2 limit (as i cant see the bookies paying out when they are losing after the change) i hate my self but i need to change this!!

Maybe time to hand control of your finances to someone you trust.
Many have done this and take no cards out just a few quid cash for the bus/lunch/coffee etc
