Great news. Give yourself these 3 months and see how you feel. If you want to resume gambling after that then you can but you won't, you'll be proud of hitting that mark and want to go further. Take that thought from now say you wanna hit 1 week then double figures, then 2 weeks, a month and beyond. Everyday you don't gamble is a success it's a day you've saved money and took another step to a better future

So from what I can see we have 5 of us checked in and rolling on to the 3 month challenge. The others may have not checked in but may still be gamble free, I hope this is the case.

Congrats to us 5, its early on but sticking at it week by week and time will fly by and at the end we'll be very proud and ready to keep going and enjoy the new life we're creating.

Also if you want me to add/change anything big or small (eg add day counts for each of us) please ask away. I can't promise anything but if I can I will.

Well done casey.

Well done g-doggy, well done for coming back, being honest and not letting that slip take hold. Your right it's not easy. Stay strong, try to avoid temptation where possible and make plans if you think temptation may come. Keep at it, the gambling world offers us nothing but misery.

Hi all, not sure I can be part of this. In the last 24hours I have lost 2500 on a credit card to slots. I am beside myself today. This is rock bottom for me. Sorry to post with such negativity.

g-doggy, I think you should try to have have someone control your finances, its not worth giving the money away, also to have someone close cheering you on would help, Its not easy to open up but it sure does help.

g-doggy you do what you need to do but do you really want to give in and stay in that gambling world.

Can you surrender your finances to a partner/family/friend? Also get a block on your phone/computer. Do what you gotta do, the more blocks the better. Keep reading diaries you'll learn many ways to stay away. Stay strong. You obviously want to quit which is great and your honesty means a lot, gambling is a secretive thing and being open is a big step. Keep on the right path it's a rocky road but it's worth it.
