Haven’t been on here for a short while due to keeping busy was lovely to see when I logged on “ 46 days since last gambled”! Some days I think it’s gone so quick then other days I’m like doesn’t seem that long. I think the thing I’m enjoying at the moment is actually having abit of money spare and of-course treating myself. Thoughts of gambling haven’t been soo bad seem to get them mainly on a night if I do get them watching tv and an advert pops up for gambling etc. I’ve nearly finished my 1-1 councillors sessions and they have helped a lot and I know that the support is still there when they do stop! when I first stop the sessions i may get a little nervous about going back to gambling but I’ll just keep telling myself I can do this I’ve done 46 days already and here’s too another 46! I naturally still have days where I feel like I’m a really fast rollercoaster and just want to get off with urges but I manage to overcome them because it’s just my mind playing tricks on me. I can now see the light shining that little bit lighter at the of the tunnel each day I’m gamble free and if there’s any advice I could give anyone that’s just stopping gambling is you can do it and each day will get better you will be able to smile each day and say to yourself that’s another day gamble free! It’s honestly one of the biggest achievements I’ve ever made and it will be yours too ❤️?
