If anyone really wants to overcome online gambling then it lies with you and you alone. Since Gamstop came out I have not gambled a single penny online. Before its introduction I was constantly seeking new casinos I hadn't excluded myself from and believe me I always seemed to find one even though I've been excluding myself from sites for over 10 years. Gamstop is a life saver to me, when I first signed up I did try to find sites but I got detected straight away so now I don't even bother as I know it works. It's took the temptation completely away.

Once my online gambling stopped tho I started using arcades and bookies to play slots but after losing just as much I have now excluded from them all too, so now even if I wanted to i know I can't and I have to say the temptation and the urges have nearly all gone. I'm 45 and gambled since I was around 13-14 and this is truly the first time I've felt I could have this under control at last. So all those on here losing all their money just do the right thing and exclude yourself from all online sites and break the cycle. Only you can do it, no one else. Good luck to every one of you.

This sounds so like me..... Stopped through GA for 9 months once but slowly slipped back into the old ways....

New accounts, deposit limits, single self-exclusion, colling off periods to protect withdrawals, you name it I've tried it.....

Anyway over the last week the wheels have finally come off.... Lost a five figure sum in 2 days.......

Need to stop this merry go round of finding new online sites to donate my money too.....

Read about this GAMSTOP thing and thought "this has to be it, I have nothing left to lose"...... Signed up this afternoon and already reciving lots of emails from sites sayign "You are now self-excluded".....

Hopefully this is the key (along with getting back to GA) as earlier this year I did the betting shop self exclusion and it just drove me online where in reality it's far easier to do you brains.... Deposit, lose, deposit lose, deposit, lose.... Well you know how it is....

Determined to pick myself up though and get the money back where it belongs (honestly) and as the user name says... Hopefully This Time!

Well done mate, I done it the first day it came out as for years I've been wishing for something like this to come out
I had blocking software on all my devices but always found away around them. This gamstop software there is no way around it which is just fantastic.
I never hesitated with signing up the day it came out and went for the max 5 years as I truly want to stop but just found it too hard to do, now I can't whether I want to or not. 45 years old now and it's now time to get some money in the bank.

Again well done mate, time to get your life back
