Hi Joey,

We've all been where you are now, feeling sick and leaving 'just enough' to live on which in reality it probably isn't quite enough, making the month ahead difficult. You need some expert advice, have you tried calling Gamcare? By all accounts they are brilliant and can help you on the way to recovery by arranging counselling among other things. You're a new parent, so life must be hectic enough without the added stress of gambling. Can you put blocks on your phone/laptop to stop you going on gambling sites? Again, Gamcare can help you with that. They won't judge you, please do call them. The good news is you can stop and you've come to the right place to help you do that. I'm sure others far more knowledgable than me will stop by to offer you some advice too.

Try and hold this thought now , and come back too it whenever you think of playing roulette ? , time for blocks ? ... no acccess then no online roulette ? , read everything here thats been written , you are not alone we number in the 100000s , and we struggle every day . Tomorrow post you are day 1 gamble free . Seek help . Lots will help you !

Hello Joey

Three wise posts above.

All I'll add - have you considered starting a recovery diary?

The two people who I always remember catching my eye the most on the forum in my first few days here were yourself and Alan.

Still see you pop up regularly with good advice.

Just, I notice that you have lots of threads but none appear to be in the 'recovery diaries' section.

You give good support, pleased to see you get some back.

Mention it because I find being on the forum has really helped me - it might help you.

Best wishes

Glint
