Hello everybody,

Just thought I would take a minute to post for the first time in this forum.

I am a 32 year old compulsive gambler, for which I am now at my lowest point in my entire life.

Over the past 7 years I would say, I have borrowed, lied, cheated in order to gain money to fund my gambling addiction. I am now at the point where I do not know where to turn. I have hurt so many people around me during this time and enough is now enough.

My problems lie with the dreaded FOBT's, a fairly common one for most people these days.i have lost thousands upon thousands and can't take it anymore, I so desperately want to stop and love a normal honest and happy life.

I am in desperate need to see it talk with someone.

kind regards

Hi Jamie

Maybe check out your local GA meeting. Plenty of folk there who will talk and listen to you about your problems. They may even be able to offer some solutions

Hi Day

i did attend my recent GA previously and part of me is worried about going back - i understand that they are not tthere to judge me but to support me In any way they can.

I am so low at the moment and at times feel like just calling it a day, it really is that bad unfortunately.

So if things cant get much worse. Throw your pride out of the window as it is of no use when it comes to getting well, and take the help on offer to you

Agreed on the GA front....I promise that you won't be judged and will be welcomed with open arms.

I've heard (and admitted to) some horrific stories that have been dealt with compassionately and without judgement.
