Hey all hope all is well,
Sorry have been off the grid for a few months but lot has happened since i was here last,( all good things)
So firstly with gambling i am not going to lie I have had a couple of slips nothing to dramatic but still a bet is a bet, i dont know if you can hear this rustleing noise lol but it is all my fresh completed self exclusion forms in my hand, so so happy about that.
Excluded every place i could think off even ones i have never been in to before.
Next as you guys know last year and early this year i was in a very dark place, sleeping on my brothers sofa, heavy gambling to destroy everything, and also was shredding my arms with razors.
I have moved out of my brothers and in a house share which is amazing, house mates are nice room is big, short distance from where i work and rent is good, plus have a nice big desk for my studying.
I have been cut free for ages now, i only had one lapse but compared to how much i was cutting in my dark state its fine.
Studying is going well my next academic year starts soon so excited about that, been on a few dates aswell so thats allll gooood,
But to summarise i am in a very good place at the moment its all on the up
I can not express in words how grateful i am for all your support and kind words over the months when i was really dark.

Good to hear you're doing well Rob. You sound very optimistic about the future which is fantastic! Are you going to counselling and/or GA for support? Take all the help you can get because we all know it's basically impossible to do it alone.

Sounds like things are going well and you have stepped out of that dark place. Great to hear about you getting off that sofa and that the studies are going my well, I knew you could do it. Great news that cutting is a thing of the past.
Like you say a bet is a bet but if you can get your life back together like you have there's absolutely no reason why you can't get the gambling beaten once and for all.
Really made my night I was actually searching for you tonight as I wanted to find a poem and realised you'd posted today. It would be great to get an updated poem from you in sure it would be a real positive read now.
