Just watching a really interesting and thought provoking programme...My name is and I'm an alocoholic.

It's about alcohol but could be about any addiction. Much of what the participants are saying reminds me how I felt about gambling.

Might be worth a watch.

Yes excellent programme.

The irony is that is that when you watch it on catch up, it breaks for adverts and every single time the first advert was a gambling advert.

Put down one addiction and pick up another.

You would think that responsible broadcasters would think about this.

I thought it was the best documentary I have seen up to now on how addicts feel/cope and deal with addiction and then their recoveries, LB, My OH watched it with me, and said why don't they make one about CGs, but he was being a little sarcastic in a funny way, because he knows how similar the thoughts and feelings are, I allow him to be sarcastic at times lol, he deserves to be 🙂 Good doc as it allowed the person to say how they really felt, no bars held.

Yes i found this documentry very interesting too. also a nice mix of people and differing times in recovery. all of the exact same reasons and feelings and obstacles we all are faced with. Same misconceptions from people who dont have problem came out in their stories too.
