Thank you Stephen the strong, I have signed up for some half marathons to keep my mind and body busy where I find I have spare time. Usally this is where Im at my weakest and may find myself wondering to places I don't want to find myself again. Let's see if it really does release these endorphins that will give me a positive buzz!

hola
Can I please join? I need help. I have to stop. I have stopped in the past, for almost 2 years at one point. I've had a recent blip that is escalating fast and I feel like the old me and I hate it. Even when I know the very harsh consequences of my gambling I still can't stop myself.
That's why I'm back, I need some focus and goal to stop. I know I can stop but right now I know I can also self destruct.
I must stop, I must never bet again. I can't let this ruin my life.
I don't know if this is the place for a post like that but I needed to get it out.
I gambled yesterday so today is day 1.
Checking in on day 310

Today I re-read the sticky posted by Mixer on the Recover Diaries entitled: Want to DO something? >Read This<. A great read full of good advice, information and encouragement. It reminded me of all the hard work and effort he put into helping his fellow travellers on the gamble free road. Yesterday Mixer's day count registered 400 but sadly we have not heard from him for several weeks.
Dear friend Mixer. I sincerely hope you get to read this and that you are ok. I am sure my sentiments are shared by many of the Guru Challengers who may also be worried by your sudden absence from the forum and concerned for your welfare. Hopefully you are right as rain and just decided to move on, in which case I say farewell and wish you well on life's journey....stephen
I wish that someone could contact mixer via email or ...
