Has anybody ever taken Naltrexone to help control their gambling urges? If so, did it help? Any side effects? I have read a bit about it and it sounds like it may help?
Just wondering if GP's perscribe this also??

My guess: if it's useful at all, it's only in the first weeks when you are in the grip of a neurochemical process. Long term, it's hard to imagine why it would be useful. Cognitive changes will be vastly more important in your success.
But sorry, no personal experience with naltrexone here - - just an educated guess.
