I apologise if the content of this post is not within the context of this site. I just need a couple of questions answered. Basically I self excluded from Coral for 6 months last year as my use of the slots was becoming erratic and damaging every part of my life. I recently removed the self exclusion and was told in an email my account was reactivated. However for some reason I couldn't log in to my account, even went on live chat and was told everything appears normal and to delete cookies etc but nothing worked. I just forgot about it and didn't use that site anymore. Anyway, I had to cancel my bank card last week as I was scammed online. I received my new bank card and decided to attempt to create a new account on Coral last night. It worked. At the end of the night I requested a withdrawal from the account. I checked this morning and my withdrawal was under the "approved" tab. I went to log in this evening and a message popped up telling me my account was frozen and to contact customer services. It's obvious why they have done this as they must have detected it was second account (I didn't use fake details or address I used all my correct info) I would just like to know if they have the power to stop a withdrawal that's already been approved? I'm happy to not play on their again if I'm honest but it would hurt me not to get that money. Also it isn't like I made an account due to my other one being self excluded or banned, they already told me in the email my account was reactivated, I genuinely just couldn't access the account. So I wonder if I have a leg to stand on there if they were to block the withdrawal? Any answers and advice is much appreciated. Thank you
Hello Lincoln Gambler,
Welcome to the GamCare Forum. You're right in that the focus of the GamCare forum is recovery. Some users of the forum are aiming towards controlled gambling, some complete abstinence. I am wondering why you removed the self-exclusion? Did you feel that your gambling was under control again? How do you feel about it now?
Best wishes,
Deirdre

PS I've moved your post to the 'Overcoming Problem Gambling' section. There isn't really a suitable section of the forum for it, but it's definitely not a debate, so I thought it best to move your post out of the 'Debates and Discussions' section.
