I tried to quit a few weeks ago but whenever I have £150-£200 spare in my bank account I get tempted into gambling it, especially on the weekends if I'm not doing anything. I have thought about telling my parents about my problem, they know I gamble but don't know the extent of how it has become, I am quite good at hiding it. I would hope they would understand it and help me and I can only see that as being the only way to beat this to be honest, finding it hard to see how to go about it though, it is a pretty daunting thing to do?

Speaking to people about the problem definetly helps! perhaps your parents could hold you money for you so you can't gamble it? Have you considered gambling as that helps a lot of people.
