What is it that you’re going to do differently? In order to do something you’ve never done, you have to become someone you’ve never been.

'I am not my behaviour - Dan 2015'

Hi Dan - one of the really interesting things about this site is how we view things differently. I have thought about your quote for a couple of days and would say when I was in the throngs of playing the FOBT's I was my behaviour. However, that wasn't to say I liked it. After 'that' inevitable loss I felt like a gambler and a loser and didn't want to be either but my behaviour meant that's what I was. Now I do not play them and for now do not gamble at all so consider I am my behaviour and feel at ease with it.

For me I would say 'I am my behaviour, and if I don't like what I am I need to change'.

Thank you for adding to the thread and offering a different perspectve to how our behaviour is inwardly viewed.

Dave
