Hi LHN, we'll done for closing the browser. Your next step is to ban yourself from ALL gaming sites using K9 software which is free. If you are serious you'll do this. This is an opportunity to break free from compulsive gambling ... why not take this first, substantive step. You can phone Gamcare and they'll tell you all about it. Welcome, once again, to our serious, determined group that wants life, not misery!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a great evening, however you decided to enjoy it, and that you remained blissfully GF. We welcome Jay D & Lady H to our challenge, our 30th and 31st members. Great to have you aboard and I know, as newbies, you are NOT going to let the group down. Welcome!!!!

LHN would also like to join but I'm concerned for you, LHN. Already, on Day 1, you are accessing your online gaming site, and although you didn't spend any money (a positive!), you need to do better. Please confirm you are going to take serious measures to stop, if that's what you want to do, and then we will be delighted for you to join us. We are a serious group, are you seriously in or out?

Enjoy the first day of 2017 everyone - a year in which we've had ENOUGH of this gambling rubbish and are seriously going to stop 🙂 You are doing brilliantly, and worthy of our challenge 🙂 !

*** THOUGHT OF THE DAY ***

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Our group has converted those intentions into actions... We CAN and We WILL!

Hi LHN, all you need to do is update here at least once a week, daily is better. Also, you can change your profile to state the first day you haven't gambled. That helps you - and our group - keep track 🙂 . You'll be our member no. 32.

Moorey - great for you to join us; you'll be on our roll-call tomorrow, our 33rd member!

M - thank you for your kind comments; and delighted you remain resolutely gambling-free!!!

Good luck newbies I was told at my ga meetings no half measures and 1000% commitment more blocks and barriers you put up the less chance of gambling it's about proving to yourself then people will have faith in you then gradually it should get easier but always be on your guard good luck
