*** ROLLCALL OF HONOUR *** - Samson, you have stormed through the 150 day barrier - we salute you.

We welcome two new members - Lady H and Vamp. Welcome to our close-knit group; let's see if you're up for this. Hope so!

Thank you for checking in and updating your diaries everyone; it all helps me keep track when verifying the stats. (And thank you for the kind birthday messages too, most appreciated - and don't forget to share your birthdays too if you'd like!). A few of us haven't checked in for a while; not a problem but I will have to 'rest' you from the group as a courtesy for the rest of our group. I understand it's not easy, especially if you've had a blip. But we're all with you, you know. It isn't easy, we all know that.

We're at a pivotal time of our challenge for some of us. There have been a few blips, despite which, I'm pleased to say, those of us who have had a wobble are getting straight back on the saddle and coming back stronger. It is tempting, after a number of days GF, to treat ourselves to a 'reward', a gambling 'reward', because there's a biit of money spare, cumulated through not gambling. It seems a bit like a 'relief dividend'. But - and we all know this - it's not. It fires of the gambling neurons in the brain, who like it - and - it's not good.

A good rule of thumb, I've heard, is that when any of us fall of the wagon, then the new GF target is at least double the previous GF total before the relapse. That sounds like a good longer-term target to me, achieved, as always, one valuable day at a time. And don't forget, any of us, to consider whether it's worth finding the underyling reason for our gambling; there usually is one. If you think it will help, there are ways to do this, with a multitude of support channels from our loved ones to professional services such as can be found via Gamcare.

Hell, I'm not going to judge and get all pious; over my many years gambling I've relapsed all too often. I might be on Day 72 now, but that doesnt make me, or nor will it ever make me, St Mixer. But - let's keep trying everyone. Let's have a GF free weekend this weekend. Let's all make a collective effort this weekend, and here's an extra incentive - the Gamcare webchat is open this Saturday at 2pm - it's a new slot. Need that extra boost? Why not join what is a very lively and very friendly bunch!

*** WISE WORDS OF THE DAY *** - Confucius is back for a third and final time - he knows, you know!

    1. Man who not P**P for many days must take care of back log.
    2. Man who run in front of car get tired. Man who run behind car get exhausted.
    3. War not determine who is right, war determine who is left.
    4. Man who drive like hell, bound to get there.
    5. Man who sit on tack get point!
    6. When called an idiot, better to be quiet than open mouth and remove all doubt.
    7. Man who eats photo of father, soon spitting-image of father
    8. Man who sneezes without tissue takes matters in own hands.
    9. Man who eat many prunes get good run for money
    10. It take many nails to build cot, but one screw to fill it.

    We CAN and we WILL!

    130 and all clear.

Still dreaming about gambling now and again (which is a worry), but at least the dreams also include hot woman (see my own diary for gory details :)).

Truth is my dreams used to be ONLY about gambling.

I have known my mojo is on its way back, but it looks as though my libido is also considering a comeback 🙂

The native ladies of West Lothian must be shaking in their boots this morning 🙂

    Oh if only !

Have a great and peaceful weekend all !

    Sbb
