Surely im not the only one who's noticed theres been no posts from JamesP for almost 3 weeks???
Hope he's ok?
Say hi James if your reading this
Tri
A lot of people must be wondering this. I think he got unintentionally drawn into one of those childish arguments you occasionally get on here. Maybe he thought he got some undeserved stick and has just had enough of the forum.
I hope that's the case coz if it's not, there may be something else that's stopping him posting.
If you do drop by James, let everyone know how you're doing. Your absence of advice will be missed by many. You certainly helped me, I just wish I had taken onboard all of it, rather than most of it.
Best regards.
I to hope JamesP is OK. He offers both sympathy and constructive help. As I have pointed out before there are too many who just want the sympathy and kick off when someone offers an opinion different to theirs or suggests they need to take responsibility for their past actions and future decisions.
Let's hope we see JamesP positing again as he and a few other stalwarts on the site are the ones who offer advice which if it is followed could well lead to people leading a gamble free life.

People do need to take responsbility for their actions but visitors to this forum are usually vulnerable and the "pull yourself together" mantra isn't always appropriate.
JamesP got the balance right but some people aren't able to follow his lead.
DeLorean I have never told anyone to pull themselves together as it's never appropriate.
I give up and would not be surprised or blame him if JamesP hasn't done the same.
Sadly, I think that's exactly what's happened. I hope that is the case, otherwise, as I said earlier, there must be a more negative reason for his absence.
I found him very helpful towards me also., and his posts quite insightful and intelligent.
Hope he ok, he will be welcomed back on here by vast majority I expect, including me 😉
Affected by gambling?
