I bumped into an old friend yesterday who is now an ex-gambler, he has been off gambling for 5 years now. I asked him what is the single most important thing to giving up gambling, he said for him it was simple, he just looked upon gambling as a 'gambling bug' and said that he just had to 'shake the bug off'.

Day 40 today and finally feel I am turning a corner, no thoughts on gambling and a week on Monday is an important milestone for me, the big 50.

Day 43 and have WON at gambling, last Saturday went to Birmingham town centre with family. Usually they go shopping and I go gambling, not this time, walked around for 4 hours on my own, got bored but DIDN'T GAMBLE.
