Lady. Feb.

Three months gamble free, a feat not to be sniffed at my dear friend, in those three months you have put in a huge effort not to just find it in yourself to face your addiction but also to take time to help many others face theres. For it today my dear gamble free friend I doff my cap to you and say. Keep up the great work.

Yes our lives are that of winners today, and each day we can make the choice.

Thanks Wilsy, Stubbsy, Duncs and Blondie for your extremely kind words of encouragement and acknowledgement of my number of gamble free days. Much appreciated. Stubbsy - I think this is the first time I have been serenaded to on my diary - you little charmer!!

Take care all of you good (and gamble free) people.

Off to son's now to do all his washing and ironing before he heads of to Cuba!! Will make sure I enjoy my day as well though - that's for sure!!

WEEK 14. DAY 94. "It's another day, it's another "NO" (to GAMBLING).

Charlotte, thank you and lovely hearing from you again. Stubbsy my friend, thank you also and yes I had a wonderful weekend doing all the things I love to do (without the curse of gambling)!!

Right then... Mini goals for April:-

1. Pay all bills - TICK

2. Buy my sister a nice Birthday Pressie - TICK

3. Budget wisely - TICK.

4. To buy myself a small treat (make-up) - TICK

5. To just BREATHE.. if/when things get difficult - TICK.

All in all, things are going well. Took my mum shopping today and how nice was it to roam around the shop thinking "shall I get this, or shall I get that"? Hasn't happened for so long but I am slowly starting to have all this back in my life again. Happy, happy.

Take care everyone and look after yourselves.

Feb - Happily shopping on "The Bright Side of the Road" today!

Lady feb a fitting title i think, thank you so much for the post it touched my heart.

I could of posted exactly the same back to you, you have overcome so much these past few months and are still standing , your so resolute in your recovery and I have much admiration for the mini goals you are setting and acheiving each month.

Progress not perfection is the only way forward, keep doing what your doing , with such style and grace like only a true lady can.

take care of yourself because your so worthy of that to.

I need to apologise- I've been very inattentive recently. I've even managed to uninstall our word game- eejit!

I hope the training's not too arduous.
