It is exactly two years on from my first post on here. Id like tostart this fresh diary with fresh hope and the added knowledge I have gained from the two years..this should give me the extra potential to suceed. I'm currently four days in, I have plans to go to pub (big mistake), I have plans to go to casino (bigger mistake) and plans to go to cash game on Friday, this is all because I have a holiday five days coming up from Thursday this week. I'm going to cancel all these plans and spend my holiday wisely. I will go to coffee shop in the day for a bif and read, then go to Brighton on the Saturday if its sunny watch the paddle round the pier. Then play tennis on the Sunday. I know if I went along with gambling plans and life ill be back to day one andd back on here with added worries and stress. Ive also joined the three month target and although I've never made it past a month id like to give it a go.

I'm back a month later, had the holiday and gambled whilst on it then woke up to my ways and self excluded from all UK casinos. I'm in a good position now if I can stay away from pubs with the fruit machines they have in them. This month my finances are better but there is still room for improvement and I've still made many mistakes through the month in the pubs. Friends of mine want me to come to Vegas next year and id said ill save for it but I think it would be a big mistake plus id need at least 2k which is well beyond my means.. So back to square one I'm on day two today and hoping for a good run. I'll not go to pub on Monday and hopefully this should give me extra cash for my holiday mid August for a wedding and a friends birthday. Need to lose weight still in thirteen stone and could do with losing some pounds. Still not smoked over half a year now, gotto keep looking at the positives in life.

it makes sense planning this is the first time I visited gamcare forum it only day 1 after a 3year stint I'm gonna ring the self exclusion line in the morning . Also I've been losing weight but cutting out bad fat and bad carbohydrates traded in the car for a bicycle. Good going sounds like your thinking positive just by starting to address your issues
Cheers hjbg for the post. Well one weekend down and feeling positive. Didn't spend any money this weekend which is a really good start. Back to work tomo
