I really understand this raj. There are many times that I didn't want to live with the consequences with my loss, so I gambled and many times I won large sums to repay my debt, but each time I lost it all again plus more and ended up in even more debt!! It's not about the money. It's about the feeling from gambling. That makes you want to keep doing it. Till this day I am still struggling with wanting to return to gambling to quickly get out of debt. It won't work though I'm too impulsively addicted I know I won't cash out even if I had millions!!

Hi Guys..update..received a reward bonus email..they wanted me to go back in the game...quickly used the bonus..lost and now closed this account. Feel bad but no urges to gamble or bet. Looks like this is another test for the road to recovery.

You never lost any money, but remember what these emails are, like cheese to mice, I get them, messages and my curiosity opens them sometimes. You have to know what they are and where you are because of online casinos, and the dark roads they once again want you to travel. Delete, ignore, repeat especially in these early stages. No gambling Raj say it to yourself everyday.

Hi Guys..update..still gambling free. I’ve been on holiday..which ha helped me. Started to exercise on a regular basis which also keeps the mind healthy. Not debt free but it’s easier to manage then the addiction I had last year. I’ve only got regrets but as the song states they only hurt! Been a emotional year..friend passed away few months ago so made me think that there much more better things to do then gambling! I hope you stay strong to live a GF life. Peace Out,

Hi Raj

You've done so well. Inspiring story. I'm only 5 days in with a way to go. Couldn't shake off the idea of winning it back today - read your original post and now put that idea to bed - someone on your thread mentioned about being addicted to the feeling of it all - making a years salary in ten minutes etc - it just defies logic doesn't it - and that's why the house always wins, because it does defy logic and there is no way to win huge constantly because life doesn't work like that - everyone loses something somewhere in life - for us it takes years to repair that damage because we lose all rationale and perspective when we get drawn in. You've done amazing to live a year with peace and distance from gambling. Inspiring people like me, thanks.
