Thanks Dotty and Ade,

Feeling ok today still really tired so early night tonight.

Roll on the weekend where i will be chillin all weekend.A weekend of relaxing with the boys all bills will be paid friday and i wont be worrying about money for a change.Well not this weekend anyway.

Not gambling i have started to see the finances change, things will always be tight on a min wage job but if im not gambling then at least the bills get paid and the boys and i can have a treat every so often.

Stay Strong.

Hi Elizabeth,

Thanks for the post and support. You have done so well. I also admire anyone who takes time out to post on other's diaries. Keep it up. 100 days in sight too. Keep your defences high tomorrow. I find that it's much easier to have all my direct debits and standing orders to go out on pay day. If temptation ever does get on top at least my bills get paid. Whatever suits you though is always best. I am sure you will have no problems anyway.

Best wishes, IanB.

Thanks guys and gals,

Dotty- I will let u know how it goes.Thankyou.

Ian -My DD and SO are staggered through the month as i get weekly pay so go through this every week. But my mum has debit card and blocks on comp and all money goes into my basic account and then i transfer over to debit account for dds etc. Then withdraw left over cash as i only gamble online.

Mr IT- thanks for the support.

Hi Elizabeth.. and great stuff on your gambling free time. I know what you mean about money always being tight on minimum wage but like you also say, when the gambling stops we know that everything will get paid. In the 6 months that i stopped last year I was about to go into the land of savings.. alas I messed up.. but by the end of this year I will have some savings as long as i don't gamble.

There is a certain satisfaction that when we can treat ourselves.. it feels very good indeed. Thanks for your support.. S.A 🙂

Hi Liz,

Good to read how well you're doing and how alert you are to possible dangers. Like you i have blocking software but i haven't got the stress of bill paying etc like you. Fortunately my partner looks after all the finances as i handed them all over to her when we moved in together.

Hope you're enjoying your gamble free time in recovery and hope pay day is going equally as well.

All the best

I have started this year making sure that I have a good lunch at work each day and it has made a real difference.

It does not have to be bought, far too expensive. What I do is pasta and toms and if I am feeling flush, bits of cheese to go with it.

Yum!

Thankyou Mark,Pauls,SA,Keith and GT.

Bills paid cash withdrawn job done.

Exhausting week at work but another week closer to my 100 days yipee and 1 day till GTs check in.

Sitting having cuddle with LO and cup of tea havent been in long.

Thankyou Pauls for my new name i think i can live with that.:0)

Although tired since taking lunch with me for the last couple of days it has made a huge difference in my mood and as GT says so much nicer when its fresh and homemade.

Looking forward to my much needed relaxing weekend with no money in the bank there will be no gambling today,no gambling tomorrow.

Stay Strong Peeps
