Hi E.

Thanks for your post-much appreciated.

So your quitting the smokes...fair play.Wish i could do the same...as i know it would save some money never mind the health issues.I have thought about it but i do have to get myself really into the proper frame of mind to go there.Wishing you the best of luck there. We're all behind you and seem very determined so i'm sure you'll kick the cigs!

Great to see your still going strong other otherwise.Have a great weekend!

All my best.

Viggo.

Thankyou J,Del,Freda,wp,Rachel,Juliette,NT and Viggo.

Posted on others yesterday but forgot to post on mine.lol

Going to need all the support i can get for giving up smoking but eldest needs a maths tutor and at £40 an hour it has to be done.I dont enjoy it anyway and ive even started to notice the smell so me and Del together :0)Going to docs Monday as there is no way i can do it on will power alone.

Got tons done today already and now sitting having cuddles with LO(being forced to watch Ben 10)Still feeling calm and no urges so again alls good.

Good vibes sent to those who may be struggling with the grand national.

Stay Strong

Hiya Libby

.....whoop whoop...good on you lovely and what a fantastic reason to stop smoking...

What a fabulous Mum you are and am sure your cubs do you so proud too...

Hoping the Docs can help with a programme ...I don't know how it works these days but if I hear of anything helping on our side of the counter then I shall pass it on to you xxx

Big Hugs and sunny times....Rach and Doo xxxx

Hi E,

First of all, NO! I'm not sharing! ;-P lololol

Secondly, you probably know this already, but nicotine replacement in some form really helps take the murderiness out of quitting I found! almost 7 years for me, and best thing I ever did. If you have a home bargains near you, they sell nicotine gum for a couple of quid, and even poundland sometimes has it. Those e-cigs are really popular too, though weren't invented in time for me to try em.

These days the docs will often refer you to a cessation group which is good as you can give each other moral support.

You are doing fab hunny, and you can find yourself your own living legend - mine magically appeared after I decided to stop taking any cr** off men 😉 simples!

Big hugs,

f x

Evening.

Day 1 no smoking and even with patches etc its killing me.aaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finished moving my mums boxes out of exs loft and into my garage,i have pulled a muscle in the front of my thigh and got a huge lump on my head,so ive had a headache all day and walking is painful so work is not going to be fun tomorrow at all.

Had a few urges of the classic "£20 wont hurt" but have been so busy i ignored it until it went away,i suspect its come from being a tad irritable with no ciggies.

Hope everyone is well

Stay Strong

Hi Elizabeth

Well done on the smoking even if it's in the early stages , I myself av took on an extra challenge to improve my life which I must say finding it so much harder than gambling but I do find that that it's helping me on that front I hope it does for u

Take care

Hi Liz, go girl and have a day to yourself, you deserve it cause you have done so well, have a day just to pamper yourself. If the no smoking is not going well, don't beat yourself up, one addiction at a time, maybe the time to stop smoking is not quite right for you, as I have told you before it took me 7 attempts but I am sure you will get there, just don't push yourself.

Have a great weekend, and take it easy, hugs x
