Thanks Scott for writing back such an enlightening reply. I understand completely what you are saying. I hope the weekend is kind to you. Weekends can seem to extra difficult sometimes can't they.

Yes weekends used to be very frustrating for me especially when it comes to gambling with all the football being on. It can also be a time where it’s a lot of time with just you and your mind, the temptations and stories your mind can conjure up about having fun gambling or winning back money is not good at all. Hope you remained gamble free. Scott

Thanks for dropping by on my Diary Scott and leaving the kind comments, weird day all in all. Hope the new week starts well for you. Never was an insomniac before these gambling escapades so I may as well fill in my Diary!

I thought I would check back in as it’s been almost a year since I posted this. 395 days Gamble Free now which I am very pleased with. I went to a birthday party last night and was peer pressured into putting a pound on a pub scratch card. I think the feeling of doing that (just a laugh, not bothered about the pound loss) shows how far I have come with this. I haven’t gambled online once since all of this, I have certainly had thoughts of winning back my losses but these thoughts are pretty much completely gone now adays. I can go into 2019 knowing I got through 2018 unscathed. I now just wanna dedicate my time to helping others on here as that gives me great pleasure. Kind regards, Scott.

Hey mate

Thanks for passing by my diary. Was great to hear from you. Glad to hear you're resilient as ever and hitting the ground running in 2019. Yeah just think of that quid in the pub as a tip to the landlord/landlady and draw a line under it. Our lives can be brilliant in 2019 if only we just surrender and accept gambling addiction for what it is and what it has done to us, and consequently stay ahead of it at all times. Hope you have a great new year.
