This weekedn ill hopefully put up my picture in lounge, put up mirror in cloakroom, put up shower curtain, organise all dvds into my shelves, go to dunnelm to buy throw for sofa, cushions and curtains.
Â
Then all i need to buy is more kitchen stuff (microwave and saucepans), tv stand and coffee table.
Â
Then need to move bed and chest of draws over. plus bits and bobs and clothes and tv and sound bar and stereo.
Â
Then cant think of anything else.

Everything will have been done in 5 months....... a long time but its been done mostly over weekends.
Â
looking forward to summer now..... time in the garden..... resting and getting a tan.
Â
Off to isle of whight next weeked.... so only five more days of work left then a week off.

Went for lunch greasy spoon just down road......then got a coffee and met a freind and went back to flat and chilled..

Hi
Waking up early in the morning and feeling good about our self is very healthy.
In doing things for our home and making it feel like a place we feel like a home.
With regards our wants it is important to reward our self and build up our self estime.
I use to view that sport was some thing I did not get invested in to.
I use to see people thinking that if their teams wins they feel succesful in them self.
If their teams fails that they are failures.
It made me aware that success only comes by my healthy actions and my healthy words.
No one can make me feel successful.
Enjoy yor trip to the if their teams wins isle of whight, have a great time.
We have been shovelling snow this week.
One day it was abaout 10 - 12 inches deep and very healthy wet snow.
Love and peace to every one.

Â
Â
Hi diary,
Â
First day of my holiday today.... stayed at home and watched footy then listened to music then opened a savings account to start saving to pay back the momney i owe my parents..... im thinking if i can put it in a chase account i can get 1.5% interest which will enable me to pay it back quicker...... as long as its safe itll be a quicker way of saving it.
Â
Meeting a friend at my flat tomo for a coffee..... setting my alarm for 1030am then will eat breakfast then go to the gym for an hour and then meet him at the flat at 12 middayish...... then going to listen to the spurs game at the flat and hopefully we can get back to winning ways again.....
Â
Im all packed for the isle of white..... going to take my chromebook so i can watch bt sport, netflix and come on gamcare.
Â
Looking forward to it..... altho last time i went to isle of white i was mentally very ill..... it was actually just after id lost a lot of money on fruit machines at a club (300 pounds) then had to borrow money from a friend so i didnt have to tell my folks..... i went into my overdraft.... got very stressed.....i then went on holiday to isle of white and my skitsophrenia after drinking at festival was very bad.... i didnt sleep and didnt have a good time at all i just wanted to come back to England...... i had packed my bags and wanted to come back as soon as we got there pretty much.... i broke down in tears just after we got to a beach..... something that should have been relaxing for my folks was obviously not...... so a couple of months ago i thought id like to go back again with my folks and have an enjoyable time not filled with mental porblems and make the most of it and make up for the last time......
Â
Im really hoping that this time will be different and we can enjoy it as much as we should.

Hi Adam
I am pleased for you being at the isle of whight.
That is a healthy thing to do and all due to your healthy choices up to day.
It sounds nice and sun came out that is a bonus.
It sounds like you are enjoying your self.
That is a very healthy expereince and all down to your choice to abstain from unhealthy habits.
Just think that 200 was an investment and reward for working your recovery.
Being so grateful and appreciative is a healthy habit instead of living in pain and fears.
Yes can relax and be in the moment.
By abstaing from unhealthy habits you have the choice to replace them with healthy habitsÂ

PS where is my stick of rock. LOL
Thanks dave for all the positivity....... id defo of got u a stick of rock if i knew where u lived!!..... all the best mate.....
Â
Im back from isle of white........ got back yesturday afternoon then went to my flat with a mate in the afternoon then also met another mate there in the evening..... plus also done some weeding there.
Â
Today ive looked with my dad into internet connection for the flat.... debating whether to get broadband line or just use my mobile and cast onto the tv? going to look more into it but will see which is best... might trial it out on mobile and just get lots of data....... depends whether im able to watch thru tv on cast without wifi....
Â
Tomo is the last day of my holiday ..... probably go to flat if sunny do some weeding.
Â
Getting a matress cover to put matress in to take over soon then will take it over and then im in!!!!!
Â
Watched the spurs vand brighton games tonight and its fair to say they were brilliant.... really cant fault any performer for spurs or brighton and hoping that point they earned at anfield will be the one that gets us the fourth spot.... either way we are garuanteed at least fifth now and can be in europe next season (even more of a reason for me to watch bt sport next season),..... if we can overtake arsenal by the end ill be in euthoria....
Â
Trying really hard to save as much as i can as allways...... i spent hardly anything on the holiday and had a great time.....since december weve decorated the whole flat!!!!!!! bought toaster25, kettle25, mirror10, painting33, carpets1001, rug 40, toilet roll holder 10, trimmed doors zero, done gardening zero, my parents and i have done all the work....... and in the last siz months due to all that i havent spent thousands ive actiually saved a thousand in that time....... Wish i could put pictures up here because im really proud.
Â
Really proud of the outcome of soo much work and dedication since ive been on here in 2015, the first three years were tough but starting a spreadsheet to look at what i spend on everything was a real eye opener. I really started to look at my spending, prioritise, analyse, put into perspective, learn about my strengths and weaknesses, rationalise and with all this learning i was able to turn my life around and in turn my finances.
Â
Now after six years graft im in a great position..... it shows you dont have to earn huge amounts (im on minimum wage) to own your own place just save and look at where you are leaking money..... all my leaking was thru gambling i never have treated myself to anything, once i finally was able to cut out the smoking 2016, then holidays abroad 2016, then drinking 2018, then finally gambling 2019, i was able to focus on a clear mind, being healthy, and with all that the spreadsheet showed me what i was aiming for.
Â
2019 (the pandemic) i think the year was was super tough being with my folks as i didn't see my friends apart from thru zoom, at the start i played football and dislocated my shoulder, the next day we went into lockdown, when i went back to work the world had changed and thankfully i stayed going to work each day as if i didnt id only see my folks each week. Other friedns living on their would not be soo lucky especially ones on whats the word where they dont work but get paid? anyway it was tough for them being soo isolated.....
Â
I got thru that and as a result of that year id only spent 500 pounds that year after bills, 300 on presents for family so 200 on myself.... so i saved a huge amount which looking back has made a difference.
Â
Then when i wanted to move into my flat i had to wait atleast six months for my shoulder surgery and recovery as id be doing physio etc..... then also when i went to give the tenants notice at the end of the tenancy because of lockdown i had to give them six months notice even the the tenancy was ending..... this took it to december 2021.
Â
So now ive taken it over and put the work decorating it, preparing for it and purchasing everything i can now finally move in!!!!!!!.
Â
It shows if your life is hard (most peoples are), when you come here at your rock bottom or at a point where you can either improve your life or destroy it further take the right steps, get back to basics, knuckle down, it could take 7 years like me but knuckle down and if you do you can change your life for the better.
Â
All the best adam 6 years smoke free, four years alcohol free, 880 days gamble free, not trying to be cocky or arragant just very proud. xxx
Back into the swing of work..... All's going good at work at mo..... Holiday days have been authorized so I'll get to watch the world cup in it's glory and spend august in my new garden along with a few other strategically picked dates each month.
Â
