Morning diary, day 32 arrives without a scare.
Lovely evening yesterday with friends, thai meal was great, especially after 6 stella artois. Restaurant was surprisingly good, i went there about 5 years ago and it was shocking. Guess the chef had changed.
Now today is serious business and the little matter of west ham beating Liverpool, there is renewed hope with our new signings and style of play. No place for gambling in my life, it is to full of simple riches. If i want a rush or thrill i will just jump in a cold shower lol 🙂 have a wonderful weekend everyone, Dark Place /

Day 33 ! what an evening yesterday, picture the scene ! 3.30pm I went to my local and started knocking those stella's back , both in anticipation and nervousness of West Ham about to play villain n0 1 Scouse city the pool. Then when the game started me sat in the sports bar in the town centre with friends, West Ham played probably the best game I have seen in 20 years ! we unleashed a torant of attacking pain on the pool which they could not handle. It was like 20 years of beating us up/robbing us of the FA Cup final win, all came out at once ! I can say that I was not sitting quietly as we waltzed into a 2-0 lead ! jumping up and down singing bubbles songs, my goodness !!!!! what a day, what a result 3-1 to the hammers COYI , not one bet placed in all the madness of it all. Next up Man U, another scalp to savour ! Dark Place /

Today at 10.20 i fly to finland on business, returning saturday.

Day 37, laying in bed in Finland and cannot sleep.
Been good trip so far, bit of mad first night with drinking but now back to normal. Long drive tomorrow to near the Russian border and hen back to Helsinki Friday and home Saturday.
Not a glimmer of hope for the demons lurking, crying, hoping I come back to them. No ! I am finished and I made that choice and I am winning every day. Good night all.

Morning Diary
So its the big 40 today 🙂 I am so pleased with myself for reaching this small milestone again, huge sense of relief at the same time. I feel like it is different this time, previously I would periodically look at the horse form and keep in touch with what was going on. Yesterday at home alone, I had the chance to watch horse racing all afternoon and I did not even turn to channel 415 or channel 4 once ! it was strange to not have that need anymore in more life, the need to Fu*% my life up in the selfishness and greed of it all. Huge step forward and my bank account is recovering all the time ! ok so I still owe circa 127,000.00 but at least I have an agreement with all the creditors ! I know the figure Is shocking to some people but It is the reality and wont go away anywhere soon.
Good week in Finland on business with a couple of customers, great food/drink every day and a lot of driving ! Friday night in Helsinki was an unusually tame affair, I think we had maxed out from Tuesday/wed/Thursday.
Many thanks to everyone that continues to support me here, it is humbling to know so many put others first, even in the midst of their own adversity.
