Not been on here for a while, i found myself repeating the same words over and over again. Nothing bad about that i suppose when it relates to stopping gambling but still ! i know the value of this site and the need to keep one self in check. Anyhow i am still fighting and gamble free !

Very cold start to the day and i am praying west ham can beat liverpool today at anfield and complete an unlikely double.

Enjoying life to the full, maybe drinking a little toonmuch alcohol but i know i dont have a problem. Social drinker i am, who loves friends and life and of course my 3 fantastic children , johannes, iiris and isaac and not forgetting my rock and beautiful wife.

Who needs gambling, just finished a wonderful roast beef dinner cooked by my angel ! lfe is good life is great life is a magical gift enjoyed by simplicity and not the fatal act of a punt, only a cu#t would not eventually understand that.

what a fantastic sentiment my friend, you have everything in your life and want for nothing.

I'm like you DP, a heavy social drinker especially when my daughters,son-in-laws, and grand kids come around, I don't think we need worry about that, that's just enjoying life.

169 day's and sounding confident, me too 75 days and never felt better, here's to more of the same, all the very best.

I watched the full horrific video of that poor jordanian pilot burnt alive in a cage by the IS yesterday. It was truly horrifying that another human could be capable of doing that, well maybe sick evil people a better description. if you ever wanted a better motivation to get on and enjoy your life without gambling that could be it. What have we all been doing chasing a false dream when lifes riches are real and obtainable for all of us that choose. To many evils in this world, gambling is just another one.

Weekend for me is relaxing and allowing my muscles to recover after putting a long and large tv ikea stand last night, 4 hours and that was with a drill 🙁 still it looks great now.

Thanks so much DP for your words of encouragement, it's very much appreciated. first and foremost i must say i loved your post on weds, said with passion right from the heart and oh so true.

yeah you picked up well on the fact that i feel great with the way things are going regarding my progress with this addiction ( I think it's ex gamblers instinct) and to be honest DP it's taken a long time for the penny to drop for me but finally I truly can see light at the end of the tunnel, and it really is down to yourself, Duncs, ODDAT, Suzanne, and many other diary posters that motivates me to succeed.

Time really does fly when you're having fun you're nearly six months clean, a great achievement just think of all that time 172 days spent just the way it should be with family and friends and not a penny or minute wasted on the G word

it's DIY Saturday for me i like to keep busy catch up on little job round the house on sats, sometimes even have the racing on in the background not tempted at all, I agree with you DP " Life's for living "

I find the hostage situations very depressing I'm not a religious man but i do find myself praying for them.
