No excuse but due to stress relapsed and went on bender. Last online site excluded from getting GamBan if compatible or another installed. I really can’t do this on my own I’ve tried as I just keep letting folk down. I’m consumed by slots. If I don’t stop I’m going to lose everything so I’ve stopped this time I will throw everything at my recovery. Counselling starts again Monday. God knows I need it

I feel your pain.
Not sure what blocks you had in place before but since getting gamban on my phone I haven't been able get on any gambling sites. There are times when I kick myself because I really get the urges but then the next morning I'm truly grateful for it because common sense returns.
I hope you and your family are ok.

Hi lml x I’ve read on GamBan that Apple have removed the app for iOS can I still get it do you know? I know I’ve excluded from all sites but I know there’s always new ones opening so definitely need a block on my phone. Any advice you’ve got about that I’d be grateful. I tried the bank card thing but got around that unfortunately. So I know I need a permanent block. Thanks for your support it means a lot. I’ll really try not to let folk down this time :(. Family not great but learning to handle it better. X

Glad to see your profile popping up as was worried about you for a while now. Sorry to hear about struggles with this compulsion but glad to see you're ready for another round with gloves firmly on!

Not sure about blocking software on your device. I have GamBan on my android which works well. Have a read on one of the Forum Admin stickers on here where it lists many different softwares for blocking sites. Am not sure in which section it is but let me have a look, i may be able to copy & paste for you.

Also, I found GC counselling very beneficial, maybe it's something you would like to give a go? You're going through stressful & emotional time now and talking therapy may be what you need the most.

Hi merrygoround and hiya SJB thank you I’m looking into k9 cos GamBan don’t do for IOS now. Betfilter do but I can’t figure out how to do it yet I’ll ask for some tech help. SJB sorry let you down and everyone else I’m back on 0 days cos spent hour looking for a site I wasn’t excluded from and unfortunately found one spent £20 sick sick sick of hold it has over me the urges are virtually all time and sooo strong I haven’t energy to fight them that’s why I need a blocker I just can’t do it otherwise feel so very down and feel like giving up. I’m not though I’m getting a blocker then I just can’t gamble, feel like crying right now much thanks SJB X

Hi lulu if you can't download something your provider should be able to block sites for you.

Hi Lulu, it's so difficult isn't it, just don't be too hard on yourself, the positive from your last post is you are going to get a blocker installed so that's great. Keep strong.

Did you self exclude from the site?

Install K9, I'm sure it works for any devices!

I struggled yesterday also. I had door open (second phone I hardly use) which had no blocks on...i spoken to the advisor and too right..there is no reason I cannot put block on that phone also. It saves money big time.

Urges are only unhealthy thoughts, never forget that you're in control on ACTING/NOT ACTING on them. Ride the storm out...stay close by, talk, use support...did you consider GC counselling? I would strongly advice to get in touch with them as it really helped me to put very important dots on my unhealthy thoughts/ beliefs and helped me to understand my behaviour better.
