thank you Cheryl x. Been on a bit of a rollercoaster lately and up and down moods. Felt anxious and not sure why. Want to go out but monies a bit tight at the moment as loaned my daughter some but left myself a bit short till next week. So in that sort of mood where bored to stay in but cant be bothered to go out either!

My puppy is in season now so bit difficult taking her for a walk as she attracts her admirers lol. and much as I adore her I do not want any minnie versions to look after!

Been missing my ex a fair bit lately. Just sad he upset me and the family so much by disposing of our old family tapes and lots of other sentimental stuff so cannot find it in me to forgive him but is still a shame as we had just got to the stage of being friends but unfortunately when he has a drink thats when he just doesnt think and the reason I divorced him.

Anyways everyone stay strong and take care, enjoy the sunshine

Mary

hi Suzanne could have been fun stuck in doggy land lol. Yes thank you mood has lifted and have that "safe" feeling inside so much better mentally. Went to see the relatives yesterday to catch up but not much happening in life. Am going out with my friends on Saturday. Supposed to be cutting down on the eating this week but oh well lol.

Want to paint my kitchen. Only did it about 10 months ago but fancy a change and something bright!

Will have some spare monies this week so get some paint on Thursday. but my goal is to build up my savings as I want to get my teeth done. But had a bit too many treats over the past few months so need to cut back.

Take care and stay strong

Mary x

Thanks for your lovely message Mary, and I am pleased your mood has lifted.

Painting is good therapy, but hey anything we do that's not gambling is good therapy, lol.

Keep strong and keep winning, and keep thinking of that lovely smile you will have because of teeth getting done HDs

thank you Suzanne xx Am a lot more upbeat. Got myself some new gladrags to wear out Saturday and now sun is out am in a good mood however weather forecast says more rain boohoo. But will do my nails,, shave the legs lol and dye my "naturally blonde hair".

Had a phone call from my friend today, this is the one who always seemed to win when she gambled and always seemed in control so was surprised when she said she had excluded from the arcades in town as was spending a hundred pounds per week! made me realise even the strongest willed person can be swayed. Sounds selfish but was glad she had admitted spending so much per week as there was always niggles in my head that maybe one day I could be in control of gambling and actually walk away when I had won or reached my limit, as she used to be able to do. So lesson learnt for me as will have to abstain for ever as I do have a very addictive personality and no stop button.

take care all

Mary xx

my poor puppy has been very poorly last few days. took her to vet an has a urinary infection, a rare thing for a puppy of six months who is in her first season. So bless her, two injections and now antiobitics for a week. Was up with her all night, giving her water through a syringe and keeping her cool. Love this little creature so much and just glad wasnt gambling as wouldnt have had money for her treatment.

Hi Mary, it's been a few weeks since your last post. Was it the trip to the seaside which dragged you back to the dreaded slots? Maybe it was not gambling related at all. Anyway just a quick mail to say I am thinking of you and wish you well. Looking forward to seeing you writing on your diary .....you were doing so well & can get back there again. Suzy

Hi everyone. No haven't gambled at all just had so much going on, decorating, helping friend with move and just visiting old friends that haven't been on my lappy. Also had a weeks holiday in Marmarus in Turkey with the family so now skint lol. Won't say i don't get thoughts but have made sure spent my money on things for me an grandchildren (have 2 more birthdays this month lol) my dangerous times will be those colder evenings but even then as I have closed accounts won't be able to act upon it. But do wish those urges that crop up now an then would stay out of my brain! Hope everyone ok an will read blogs laters as X factor on shortly. Xx
